New Classroom
The 2021 capital budget of Rhenish Primary allowed for the replacement of two existing pre-fab classrooms. Still, the funds required for a third classroom exceeded the approved budget. The Rhenish Trust proposed after consultation with the principal, school management team and the school governing body that the Trust fund the third classroom. The trustees again canvassed support, and through some exceedingly generous donations from supporters of the school, raised funds over their target.
Despite various CV19 delays, the new classroom was completed in August 2021. The total cost of the project was R600,000. This new classroom will serve current students and staff and indeed many future students and staff of Rhenish Primary School.
Ms. Luzanne Brink on behalf of The Rhenish Trust officially handed over the new classroom to Rhenish Primary School Principal Mr. Gary Skeeles in September 2021.
The Trustees extend their sincere thanks to all supporters in relation to the new classroom project. The Trustees also wish to express their gratitude to all other stakeholders who aided in the successful delivery of this project.
